Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and reliable Budtender to join our team at our Adrian location. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly, professional, and fully compliant manner while helping create a positive experience for every guest.

We are specifically looking for candidates who are available to work closing shifts (3:30pm – 11:30PM) and are able to work on weekends. Packaging shifts may also be available. Full-time availability is strongly preferred; however, we are open to hiring highly qualified part-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers, providing a warm and inviting environment for all visitors.
• Deliver excellent customer service: answer questions, educate on products, assist with purchases, and resolve any concerns professionally.
• Perform check-in and ID verification to ensure full compliance with Michigan state cannabis regulations.
• Operate the point-of-sale system for check-ins and sales transactions.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and their effects to help customers make informed choices.
• Handle phone calls, fulfill online orders, and run out curbside orders efficiently.
• Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and communicating restocking needs.
• Uphold all security and compliance protocols; report any suspicious activity.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, inventory staff, and security to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
• Previous retail and cash handling experience is required.
• Prior experience in cannabis, customer service, retail, or hospitality is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of or genuine interest in cannabis products, culture, and industry trends; willingness to continue learning.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work closing shifts (3:30pm – 11:30pm) and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Must pass a background check in accordance with Michigan state cannabis regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Hours: Position requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Closing shifts are a core need.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience ($15.00 – $16.00/hr).
