With a deep background in medicinal cannabis, the time was right to expand into recreational cannabis and create an unsurpassed art form for true connoisseurs. The question remained: where? It was essential to plant roots in a place where Pegasus could contribute to the surrounding communities, stimulate the local economy and be a part of something greater than ourselves. They drove through Michigan to scout the idyllic piece of land and became lost on a picturesque road between Chelsea and Leoni Township. At the site they ultimately chose for their farm, they stopped to admire a herd of horses on a distant hill; it was quiet, peaceful and seemed “right,” but they needed a sign, and there it was. As they stood at the fence, a white horse broke away and galloped over to us. It was Pegasus, the mythical, white-winged horse whose hooves created natural springs wherever he landed; springs with water that inspired artists. They were the artists who would dedicate themselves to growing the purest proprietary cannabis blends that would enhance the Michigan lifestyle. They found their farm and community. Pegasus found its home.
